Planning Application
Following continued engagement with the local community and interested stakeholders throughout 2008, as considerate community developers, Berkeley Homes decided to address certain issues raised by withdrawing the previously submitted application and introducing significant changes to our proposals.
In addition to the redesign of certain aspects of the original proposals, Berkeley Homes secured the purchase of the adjacent Brunswick House site at above market value in order to overcome one of the principle concerns raised, namely the proposed vehicular access from Walnut Tree Avenue.
The proposals presented in this section represent the culmination of 6 further months of detailed stakeholder consultation.
In keeping with our commitment to Community Consultation and Stakeholder Involvement, we will be seeking your views on the revised proposals at the earliest opportunity via the methods already established with the local community, namely – Direct Meetings with Residents' Associations and local individuals, regular Newsletter Updates and a further Public Exhibition on the 11th of March 2009 between 4 - 9pm in the Riverside Restaurant on site.
